Browse to Outlook.com and log in.
Once you have successfully logged in to Outlook.com. Click on the ‘People’ in the navigation bar, at the bottom right of the browser window.

This should now take you to your contact’s management section of Outlook.com.
At the top left of the window, you should see the “New contact” button.

After clicking the “New contact” button you should see the following screen.

Enter the information of the person you would like to save to your Outlook contacts. I always make sure I enter the persons First name, Surname, Email address and Company.
The ‘Add more’ section at the bottom allows you to enter more information against the contact. Personally I don’t use this too much when creating a new contact.
I normally edit a contact’s details further once I have emailed them a few times.
Once you have added all the relevant information the “Create” button should now be enabled and clickable.

After clicking the create button, Outlook.com may take a moment to save your contact. Once saved, Outlook will show you a preview of that contact.

The new contact should also be listed and searchable in the contacts listing.

There you have it. Quickly and effortlessly add a new contact using Outlook.com
